Dr. Joseph M. Coscino, DPM

Dr. Coscino is an ABFAS Board Certified podiatrist/foot surgeon and has been in private practice for more than 25 years. He remains committed to offering advanced treatment options and state-of-the-art surgical techniques, in a warm, friendly environment with a caring staff. Most surgeries are performed in the comfort and convenience of the office or at the nearby Oak Brook Surgery Centre. For the convenience of our Crest Hill patients, surgical services are offered additionally at the Provena St. Joseph outpatient center.

Dr. Coscino grew up in the near west suburbs of Chicago, graduated from Fenwick High School with honors and subsequently from Illinois Benedictine University in 1987 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He continued his education at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine where he received his doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine. He went on to further complete surgical residency training at Midwestern Regional Medical Center. For more than 25 years, Dr. Coscino has been committed to providing quality podiatry care and foot surgery at his Oakbrook Terrace as well as Crest Hill locations, seeing patients from all over Chicagoland.

Dr. Coscino is most passionate about providing pain relief in a friendly and personalized setting, helping patients maintain mobility and an active lifestyle. He received “Mentor of the Year” in 2006 for his work with students from his Alma mater, the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He is affiliated with many organizations within his profession including the Illinois and American Podiatric Medical Associations. Dr. Coscino is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

When outside the office, Dr. Coscino is actively involved with his children and family life, including their many sports and activities. He is involved with the Boy Scouts of America and Hesed House Homeless Shelter in the community. He is married with 5 children and describes himself as passionate, traditional and communicative. He strives to provide quality foot care in a gentle, friendly atmosphere with integrity and compassion.


  Dr. Heidee Kalmar, DPM

Dr. Kalmar is an ABFAS Board Certified Podiatric Surgeon who has provided care to patients in the western suburbs of Chicago since 2003. As part of a busy multi-specialty practice for the past 11 years, Dr. Kalmar has worked with patients of all ages, and had the unique privilege of working with children on almost a daily basis, which is one of her passions. Being part of a practice where she saw hundreds of patients per month, Dr. Kalmar was given the opportunity to encounter, diagnose, and treat every foot and ankle pathology.

Dr. Kalmar is a veteran of the United States Army Reserves and served in Augsburg, Germany, during the Desert Storm War, as an operating room technician. This solidified her keen interest in surgery while inciting her enthusiasm for podiatric medicine. In 1999, Dr. Kalmar earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind franklin University School of Medicine and Science.

Upon her graduation from medical school, Dr. Kalmar completed a 3-year surgical residancy program at the Jessie Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL. While in her residency, Dr. Kalmar was trained in foot and ankle surgery, with an emphasis on diabetic limb salvage techniques

Today, Dr. Kalmar is honored and excited to bring her expertise to Premier Foot & Ankle Center. She lives in Naperville with her two wonderful children. She has been an active individual her entire life with a focus on running, weight training, and nutrition. Dr. Kalmar also loves to travel, read, and contribute to her commiunity by participating in the many local and international organizations where she donates her time and resources.
